Cheesy Celeriac Mash

200g/7oz celeriac, peeled and chopped

salt and freshly ground black pepper

pinch of nutmeg

2 tbsp double cream

55g/2oz brie

fresh chervil, to garnish


Preparation Method

1. Bring a large pan of water the boil. Add the celeriac and boil for ten minutes, or until tender.

2. Add the nutmeg, salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste, and mash the celeriac to a rough paste.

3. Add the cream and brie, stirring to mix well.

4. Place into a warm bowl and garnish with the chervil.
